We’ve got a lot of ambition and a great team to deliver it. Our Story
Part of our great town’s cultural legacy and heritage, Macclesfield Town Ladies FC outlived their Silk Men counterparts in 2020 when the men’s team went in to administration. Already a separate organisation by this point, MTLFC have been a club driven by the passion and commitment of our unpaid volunteers who run the day to day operations and our outstanding coaching team who continuously invest in the performance of their teams to advance and progress our players’ skills and capabilities. Our drive comes from the results that we see in the players that we develop: confidence, team spirit, pride, strength, health, vitality, enjoyment…And our love of the game keeps us all aligned – win, lose or draw
Fundraising
We are an England Accredited Football Club but as a self-funded entity our fundraising is vital to our club’s growth and investment. As an all-inclusive ladies club, our football is for players of all backgrounds and all levels of ability. Our carousel of regular fundraising events ensures that we can support this level of provision in our community. Our longer term growth ambitions will need strategic investment across different projects. You can support this portfolio of improvements with donations or as a volunteer.
